John O.Grun:
Mr. John O. Grun, USA, graduated from Cranford High School, received Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science. He also holds Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University in 1982, and became Edison Township’s Health Officer/Director in 1988.

John remained in this position until his retirement from this post on March 31, 2010. Mr. John has received most prestigious Frank J. Osborne Award in October, 2010 for Meritorious Achievement in Public Health. John also served as Municipal Registrar, Housing Code Official, Emergency Planning Committee member, Sustainable Jersey Green Team Advisory Board member, and Edison representative to the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Public Oversight Committee on Former Raritan Arsenal. Dedicated to serving the community both where he worked and lived, John threw his hat into the political ring in 1979, and was elected Councilman for the Borough of Helmetta. John held this office for 10 years, with 4 years spent as council president.

On the county and state level, John has lent his expertise in numerous positions on a wide range of committees and coalitions. John served as President of the Middlesex County Health Officers Association from 1985-1989 and as Treasurer from 1989 until his retirement, and served as President (two terms), Vice President and Treasurer of the Middlesex County Mosquito Commission between 1982 and his retirement. He has served the New Jersey Mosquito Control Association as Commissioner, the JFK Medical Center Infection Control Committee, and the JFK Medical Center Board of Trustees, acting as Mass Casualty Subcommittee Co-Chair and Bioterrorism Committee member.

Throughout his career, John has served as a role model to the allied health professions.

Dr. (Prof.) Anamik Shah:
Dr. Anamik Shah holds Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and has more than 25 years of teaching and research experience in Medicinal Chemistry. He is one of the most respected figure in pharmaceutical industry on global platform, currently Dr. Shah is professor in Chemistry Department at Saurashtra University, Rajkot, India.

He has published more than 70 research papers in both National and International Journals, in various Scientific Forums and also holds few patents on his research. Dr. Shah is also honoured with prestigious award by International Scientific Partnership Foundation, Russia. He is currently the acting president of Indian Society of Chemists and Biologists (ISCB).

Dr. Shah’s major research interest includes Medicinal Chemistry, Anticancer, Anti-HIV, Antitubercular Drug Design, Medicinal Plant Studies, Drug Discovery through NCEs, Contract Research Process Chemistry & Analytical Chemistry.

Dr. Surendra Ranade:
Dr. S. Ranade completed his bachelor’s in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Gujarat Agricultural University and pursued his Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management from IRMA. Dr. Ranade is an experienced campaigner and since 32 years has been associated with developmental activities through milk business right from the formulation of medicines, planning, appraisal and monitoring.

Dr. Ranade was on National Dairy Development Board, Anand (NDDB) from July 1978 to June 1993, Rajkot District Cooperative Milk Producers' Union Ltd., Rajkot from July '93 to August 2000, Managing Director - Pune District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd. from September 2000 to March 2004, Managing Director - Kolhapur District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd. from April 2004 to September 2008.

During his career he has initiated activities such as calf rearing scheme, prevention of disease practices by timely medication, introduction of celebration of biannual De-worming day for the cattle. Dr. Ranade is a respected veterinary professional within the industry.

Pratap P. Gandhi:
Mr. Pratap P. Gandhi holds Masters in Biophysics from Mumbai University. Currently he also serves as Technical Director at Vidhi Bulk Drugs, India. He has more than 45 years of Pharmaceutical Industry’s experience in various areas including procurement of raw materials, vendor development, vendor audit with QAD, manufacturing, liaison with FDA and Sate Excise Departments.

More than 30 years, Mr. Gandhi served at Rhone Poulenc India in various capacities as production in-charge and also in procurement department. He also worked with Europharmaceticals, Invochem Laboratory in various technical and business development projects. He is one of well respected figure in pharmaceutical industry to assist experts in various complex and challenging technical projects.
